Traffic was really bad yesterday. Together with Thursday late night shopping, some Sydney light festival, Christian Dior sale and the Ipad launch. I was stuck in grid-locked traffic in the city at 8pm in the evening. It did not help with the crap weather, causing less people to take public transport.
Once again, I urge the road users the following
1) When merging, pls give way and allow one vehicle at a time from the left and right lane. Smooth operation will result in lesser delays. Which means you can get to your destination faster, if you don’t understand that.
2) Cyclists, please keep to your lane when you have no insurance and the roads upgrades are funded from our taxes and rego. The last thing we want is to let you get into an accident. Also, please keep away from our blind spots
3) Public transport users. Continue what you are doing. You are doing a great job
4) Pedestrians, please adhere to road rules. Don’t cross when the man is red. Accidents = delays for vehicles and hurt for your family.
5) Old drivers (if you got the chance to look at this) keep away from the bloody right lane. KEEP AWAY!
Hopefully, traffic gets better. However, at the rate it is going, the delays are going to be massive in the city and parking are inadequate. Peak hours are going to be stretch from 4-6pm to 4-8pm.
Good for me. I would suppose.
