live for yourself. make your own decisions.
is not easy sometimes because the decisions you make affect the people surrounding you.
my next step may be good for me at this time but may cause hurt/temper to in the long run.
doesnt matter whether it is a major or minor issue. live for yourself-the statement is untrue.

another month is flying by and is October. time really zoom past. christmas is just around the corner. so many things have happened, new place, moving in, weddings etc.

still very happy about the Nookz. very comfortable and just want to laze in this nest of ours. cant really describe the feelin but all will be complete when the sofa and the bed arrives. cant wait.

a lot of thoughts been "mingering" around my head, but everytime i want to put it down to words, laziness just set in. this blog is basically pretty "nothing"

=) until next time...

special thanks to the council staff who picks up the rubbish without fail on Monday morning.
ever wonder what happens if no one does that? first time staying in a house, and we got to push our bins out to empty on Sunday night. Magically, come Monday morning, the rubbish is cleared. Really appreciate those guys waking up early and take our rubbish away, if not my recycle bin will be like over-filled.
even though they have a easy job, it still takes effort and endurance to stop every 5 metres to pick up each and every bin for the estate, the suburb, the local government area, the state and the whole country.
cheers mate!

Temasak

Location: Paramatta, Roxxy Arcade, corner of George Street and Smith Street.
Food: Singaporean, Malaysian
Review: requires booking to get a table. cost of mains are between $12 - $30. servings are considered huge. service rating depends on who's serving you and whether they are in a good mood that day. Food wise - closest to what we can get in Singapore. but of course, not as good. We had Hokkien Mee (Singapore Style), up to my standard but just need that small little lime to make it complete. Denise had Nasi Lemak. not that good. Sambal suits me but not her in terms of spicyness and the rice is not as fragrant. Laksa was better than expected. the chicken rice next to our table, looks really good. not sure if it tastes as good but certainly ought to give it a shot from the looks.
Rating: 8/10
Conclusion: will be back for the desserts and other food. if time permits, go for the lunch special. $9.90 from 11am - 2.30pm M-F. Recommended

North Rocks! Nooks!

i've moved! moved into a new place. a place we can call our own.
thanks to everyone above for making the move such a success. and also to bobby who came all the way down from Newcastle to provide some of his muscles to help me with the move.
rented the truck on Thursday with Denise at Artamon. for those in need of a truck. go to Orana Trucks Rental. Their price are lower than the most (thrifty, budget etc.) but their location is a little bit out of the way. driving the truck was a good yet scary experience. lucky with denise around and providing me with another pair of eyes, we were able to drive to and fro with no issues. from now on, i promise not to blame truck drivers so much on the roads. is pretty hard driving those things but still, they shouldnt speed as much as what they are doing now.
moving out of Randwick is tiring because of the steps. but we did it. Denise, Letty and I coordinated well and got the truck loaded up in just under 3 hours. unloading was much easier as we could park outside the garage and leave everything in the garage before unpacking. wooHoo. I love my garage. hopefully it will not be a dumping ground.
as they say, "god dont give you everything", the move was not without no issues. but Im just glad all of us are safe and sound.
love the house. love our house. i hope we will be able to sustain it and all things will come good in the end. thanks for all the blessings that was given to us. even though they didnt come from everyone, im just glad I received love and support from some of you guys.
